In most countries around the world, though to varying degrees, the results of efforts to achieve gender equality are evident in many areas: women–just like men–study, work, and lead companies or governments. However, societal expectations regarding gender have hardly changed. The fact that we are born female or male limits our opportunities throughout our lives. The fulfilment of the individual and the utilization of their talents for the benefit of society are in all of our interests and are the key to our individual and societal well-being.
