Customer Marketing Expert

Our key partner, an FMCG company is seeking for a Customer Marketing Expert.


Point of Sales

•Translate the Mars category vision, adapting and translating category management concepts and presentations for discussion with local customers

•Participate in key customer presentations to sell our POS category concepts

•Increase visibility of the portfolio through instore shelf solutions and shop in shop

•Generate customer insight through effective relationship building and management with Key Account Managers, Field Sales and customers in the local market

•Develop and maintain an effective relationship with Sales

•Deploy trade/POS customer marketing levers e.g. assortment, shelving, display, promotion, etc

•Ensure appropriately customised marketing tools and materials are available to support Sales teams. Support Brand Marketing in brand and category monitoring/performance

•Ensure sales promotional activities are implemented as agreed including feature displays and consumer special offers

•Deploy trade/POS customer marketing

•Ownership of the Trade Marketing budget

•Support the Customer Marketing Manager in the execution and activation of initiatives

•Provide input to the design and own the execution of customer specific promotions. Execute promotional design execution within brand guidelines

•Tracking of promotional activities and conduct reviews to evaluate performance (e.g. ROI) of promotional activities and take corrective action as required

•Execution and management of trade events

•Develop channel and customer specific execution strategies of our levers in store: assortment, shelving, display, promotion

•Develop channel and customer-specific promotions

•Monitor, evaluate and optimise national and customer-specific promotions to expand category leadership in the trade

•Develop specific shelving concepts. Monitor, evaluate and optimise merchandising



•Bachelor degree or similar


•3-5 years+ relevant experience in FMCG Sales or trade environment / marketing
